New post S2k turbo shave and rebuild.
So just a update the S2000 blew it's stock engine, so I bought a built low compression Inline Pro bottom end matched with some other toys. I should be 450hp+ to the wheels at around 20-26psi on pump gas and still pulling 26mpg cruising. Decided while the motor is out to do a wire tuck and shave. It's not ALL out, but it will suffice for me.

This battery bracket holder is all custom by me. Not crazy pretty, but hella strong and I'm proud this is the first welding i've ever done.

Awwwwwwww miss you tooooo. Talked to Fab a while back, damn as soon as this ***** is up and running I'll be up there. I want to beat up on some Euro whips.

And ya my engine bay will never be a smooth as his. Remember this is a top speed car build, I'm only doing this because I have time....my car will never be a true show car.

Awwwww we're all so happy. 1000 miles of bliss, and 3rd gear drifts and almost beating a 1000cc suzuki sport bike....and then.

WTF for sure. Still unknown cause, but appears this cyl went lean. No head damage. Sending injectors to get checked out $105 :( and sending ECU to get checked as well $75. Talked to engine builders, Inline Pro and they are discussing within themselves the pictures and are going to call me back on what we do from here. I'll be footing the bill, but they are super cool so I have a feeling they will hook me up to help out.

Pistons are showing some pitting from overheating and that's usually a lean condition, but nothing really bad especially around the edges. Doesn't look like piston to valve contact, but that piston sure looks like it was metal fatigue/failure at the value relief. Are you using stock compression, a headspacer, or lower compression pistons? Stock compression and boost over 1 bar is very tricky for anyone to manage.

The exhaust side looks dark so that's not so lean but the pits and breaks on the intake side makes me think it was advanced ignition. For turbo should retArd 4 degrees on the cams/ignition.

Midnight Pearl with xerillic blue pearl amongst others to give it a stronger blue glitter effect I guess. You'd have to see it in the sun to get the full affect.

Well does anyone know how to read a ignition table, if so I'll post up mine. Inline pro says the tune is 5-8 degree's too much timing. So do ya'll think my other pistons are okay or no.

Inline Pro built short block with arp studs, eagle rods, je 9:1 pistons, and such.

You should probably at least pull all the pistons and check for spider cracks underneath and on top to be sure. Personally I would put new pistons to be sure because it would suck to have to do that again. Post up that table and we can see if we can make heads or tails of it.

Yeah I agree that color is fantastic!

hard to tell from the photo because of the angle and reflection but it almost looks like one of the cylinder walls is scored abit too? is it just the picture?

It is scored, but my fingernail won't even catch on it so it shouldn't be much to fix that.
